An Action-Packed sPACYcLOUd Weekend!

By: Maddie Launais
This Saturday, the sPACYcLOUd crew and friends have a busy weekend! Catch us at 14th & U St. in Washington, D.C. from 12 P.M. - 4 P.M. at the DC Department of Funk: Funk Parade! Join us for fashion, music, skating, hula hooping and fun.

Later in the day you will find us at Shaw Skate Park as we team up with the Kennedy Center and George Mason University School of Art in their Finding A Line Funk Parade Concert. The Kennedy Center has done so much for the skateboarding community, sPACYcLOUd, its members and affiliated teams.

sPACYcLOUd/Skate Girls Tribe and DC Wheels Charity Team rider Joe Falvella has a special role, seeing as two of his sponsors have worked closely with the Kennedy Center and its skating events in the past, he has been able to bring all that skating together over the years in collaboration with his teams, recruiting new members to both along the way. For even MORE music, skating, and fun on Saturday at one of D.C.'s most popular skateparks, come down to Shaw from 5-8 P.M.!
