Introducing the "Elephants" Skateboard Collection!

The sPACYcLOUd "Elephants" skateboard collection was inspired by Jerry Garcia's bears. This collection is a result of collaboration between sPACYcLOUd and Exposure, a non-profit organization which organizes the biggest female skateboard events and competitions in the world.

Why should you consider purchasing sPACYcLOUd "Elephants" skateboards?
  1. It celebrates and showcases local artists, organizations, and companies
  2. 50% of sales proceeds go toward Exposure which raises money for survivors of domestic violence.
  3. It is made in the USA because we believe in supporting local economy
  4. It is cool and unique!

Sneaker Con, WM3, sPACYcLOUd, Life, and the Universe!

Stop by our booth at Sneaker Con, The Greatest Sneaker Show on Earth!

sPACYcLOUd will have a very special guest, WM3! Don't miss a rare opportunity to meet this talented young man and to see him in action!

Will Moore aka WM3 is from Baltimore. He is 8 years old and has been dancing for half of his life. WM3's array of moves include: breaking, animation, tutting, bone-breaking, poppin’ and lockin’. He is a talented dancer but also a caring, fun, determined, and intelligent young man.

When WM3 was 6 years old his parents took him to the Moonrise Festival at Pimlico Race Track. As soon as he walked into the door he was unstoppable at freestyling, flips, splits, breaking, poppin’ and lockin’. CJ Fuentes, dancer and choreographer, spotted WM3 and offered to work with him. CJ’s positivity and mentoring has helped WM3 develop and sharpen his abilities. At 7 years old, WM3 joined Urban Evolution in Baltimore to learn Parkour.

WM3 has recently joined sPACYcLOUd Street Team. It is our honor to have such a talented, determined, positive, and hard working individual on our team.

Interview With Corinne Seguin

We recently inteviewed sPACYcLOUd sponsored skateboarder Corinne aka Coco who joined our team in October. Corinne is a French skateboard, visual artist, graphic designer, and owner of co2designs firm.

How long have you been skateboarding?
About 15 years here and there inconsistently.

Do you remember when it went from being a fun thing to do to being a passion that you pursued?
I’m driven by passion in general in my life. After I dropped practicing and competing gymnastic at high level for years, I've started skateboarding and it automatically became my other source of sense. Another need to focus on something, another passion.

What are some of your favorite places or events to skate at?
I've loved skating around Barcelona while living there. The city streets and skateparks are amazing.
Love skateboarding with the crew during our Femme Skate events here in NY.

You are the founder of Co2designs. What can you tell us about that and what you do?
Yes I am the owner of co2designs, a graphic design and consulting firm. I founded co2designs in 2013 to practice Graphic Design as a freelancer. I mostly did work in the skateboarding and music industry. I’m  more focused on print design (advertising, books, collaterals, identity, infographics, packaging, publications) but I also create web work (web design, advertising banners). I also do marketing, PR, fine arts and photography. My graphic design work is usually a combination of hand drawn illustrations, photography, and typography. My fine arts work is based on automatic writing, travel, motion, basic geometric shapes, and primary color or black China ink. You can see my work at www.co2designs.com, www.corinneseguinart.com, http://corinneseguin.tumblr.com, or via my on-line portfolio at http://issuu.com/co2designs

When you're not skateboarding, what do you like to do?
I usually create art, love taking photographs, go to art/music shows, read books, practice hot yoga or stare at the walls for ages as meditation. I love just being outside, I need air. I bike almost everyday. It activates my body to get going and relaxes me.

What motivates you?
Life. Love. People. Travels.

What do you think of the state of the female skate scene right now?
It’s going pretty well. Female skateboarders are getting more recognized as I attended Chicago SLS to witness the first women division. They are a lot more women skateboarding now compared to when I started and they are very good. It keeps developing.

If you had one tip for young skateboarders, what would it be?
Keep pushing no matter what.

What do you like about sPACYcLOUd?
I recognize myself in sPACYcLOUd statement: “love, peace and creativity.” This is what I go for in my life too. It is environmentally conscious which is one of the base of my artwork: recycling skateboards or bottles as canvases. Its originality in the clothing patterns and high quality products make sPACYcLOUd unique to my eyes. I like the fact that it broadly targets the urban community, artists, musicians, skateboarders and dancers. Last September, I was invited to participate at The Finding A Line festival at the Kennedy Center hosted by sPACYcLOUd and Skate Girls Tribe. It was an amazing experience. I got to meet Tati and members of sPACYcLOUd in person. Everyone were in good spirits and I love to be part of the team. I look forward to represent sPACYcLOUd at Exposure Skate in California and other events.
