What's Skate Girls Tribe?

Skate Girls Tribe invites girls of all ages & all abilities to come together and skate with other girls in a big fun group. Skate Girls Tribe was created to empower young women through skateboard culture.  We hold monthly events to celebrate life, art, culture, education, and fun via skateboarding and longboarding.

Skate Girls Tribe was formed in the DC area to create skate events for girls. Skate Girls Tribe promotes confidence and assertiveness, individuality and creativity, strength and dignity, all gathered together with a love for skateboarding.

With a vigorous setting of play and sociality, SGT nurtures and sustains these values and goals. With such virtues in place, we believe that healthy and responsible choices will be made later in girls’ lives.

Tell a friend, spread the word, join the Skate GIrls Tribe!

sPACYcLOUd Day a Success!

We'll be sharing more pictures in the next couple of days but a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to sPACYcLOUd Day! We loved seeing familiar faces and making new friends.Thank you to everyone at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for their help and support.

A special thanks to our dear friends Tamara Lang, Michael Lang, Laszlo Joseph Lang, and Harry Lang. They drove all the way from Woodstock, NY to show their love and support for sPACYcLOUd and Skate Girls Tribe. For these who don't know, Michael Lang is founder and producer of Woodstock festivals. He is featured in "Woodstock" documentary, written New York Times Bestseller "The Road To Woodstock" book, and has recently launched Pop Music College in Woodstock along with Paul Green, founder of School of Rock.
